报告人简介:

Dr Meilan Huang is a principle investigator at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast since 2007. She has extensive experience in developing and applying computational chemistry/biology in rational protein engineering and rational drug design. Another area of her group is rational design of functional materials for perovskite solar cells. She has been leading several interdisciplinary research projects using computational modeling to guide experimental design. She has over 30 publications on high-impact peer-reviewed journals such as ACS Catalysis and J Phys Chem. She is the academic leader of an interdisciplinary biotechnological project (£763,210) on development of computational and molecular biology platforms for industry and QUB. She received her PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2003. Prior to her faculty position at QUB, she was a postdoctoral fellow in University of Calgary in 2003, a Welcome trust research fellow at the University of Oxford from 2004 to 2006 and a research fellow at University of British Columbia in 2006.
